It's imperative that they find the black box. Otherwise, another accident and A 330 will go the way of DC 10, remember the plane that would lose its doors while in flight.

Plane that just crashed off Rio coast A 330 has a bad history! Beware!

330 simulating an engine failure and crashed and killed all 7 crew on board.. australia 7th oct 2008. perth australia airbus a.
330 plane suddenly due to "electrical faults" pitched downwards toward the ground for awhile....many injured, but control was restored and it landed safely.

Thanks, Blondie, I used to draw ideas from your weekly thread to give comments at the WT meeting, it will now be for my own use when I talk privately to JWs, since I gave up meetings for good last week.
In addition, think of the expenditure to publish this magazine in 172 languages many of which are spoken by people who are relatively poor.
Consider too, the fact that this journal is made available in various sign languages used by the deaf, as well as in Braille for the blind.They used to start their call-for-funds campain later in the year, they are now quite graphic as soon as may. Must be desperate for fresh cash, somehow. They should be advised to sell another building to replenish.

1 year sober today...it can be done!
by digderidoo injust wanted to post here to say i am now 1 year sober.
funny thing is i don't miss drink at all, it took a 3 or 4 months of hard work about 18 months ago and have not looked back since.. this is my first thread about the aa, posted january 2008.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/150354/1/went-to-aa-meeting-last-night.
i would encourage anyone who thinks they may have a problem to get help, it is out there.. since i have become sober i am now doing a law degree, took up scuba diving, got my kids involved in snorkelling, scuba, horse riding and shooting.

Was living in East Montreal ( Rachel/St Hubert) in the mid 70s, does that count ? loved that time, I would spend week-ends at Lac des chats, St Sauveur des Monts. Shall I ever see Quebec again, Cââââline ?

So, it happened. Packed my things and left
by aligot ripounsous insome may remember, i wrote on an other thread that elders forbade me to give comments at the wt meeting, as i weaken the brothers' faith.
i wasn't satisfied with this outcome and, 10 days ago i sat with my wife on the front part of the kh (like in many khs, attendants pack on the back seats), in the middle of the row, right in front of the wt elder, and raised my hand insistently.
i was of course openly ignored but i didn't care, all that i wanted was verybody to see how they deal with independent members.

Just to add that the whole exit process was very much like a game (I liked Chickpea's swordplay comparison) since there was no vital or even serious issue at stake like family shunning. Unfortunately it has not been (or is) so easy for many of those on here.

If they do threaten to DF you then you might want to let them know that if any announcement is made regarding a change in your status as a JW you will take them to court.
Thanks for the advice, lady Lee, I heard the case was judged in Belgium, not long ago. That may explain why they are so cautious now, they may have received instructions to that effect from their headquarters.
